The rollercoaster I didn’t see coming

The views from the sea-facing room were breathtaking, complemented by attentive and cheerful staff who made dining a pleasure, especially the delicious evening meals.

Unfortunately, the experience was marred by occasional disturbances from communal areas, compromising privacy during my stay.

The Dolphin Suite offered stunning views, but the location felt a bit too quiet for nightlife lovers. Free bicycles available to explore the island.

The Aloe Suite offered breathtaking views of the lagoon, creating a serene environment that made our stay truly relaxing.

Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi signal in the room was weak, which made it difficult to stay connected during our trip.

Too many stairs to navigate!!! Room comfort compromised by erratic power supply. ineffective heating made for an unenjoyable winter stay!!!

We had a wonderful stay in the impressive Coral Suite with stunning ocean views! Enjoyed delicious meals by the cozy fireplace, but the coffee setup could use a rethink.

Amanzi Island Boutique provided a remarkable experience during my stay. The Kingfisher suite I stayed in was luxurious, offering incredible views over the lagoon and Knysna Heads. Breakfast was varied and of high quality, while dinner surpassed expectations with dishes like the exceptional fillet steak and a sublime baked yogurt dessert. Crucially, the service from the staff was outstanding, with special mentions for Fortune and Miriam, who ensured my stay was seamless.

The occasional noise from communal areas was a minor distraction.

The staff were exceptional, always greeting with a smile and willing to help. I loved the comfortable bed and the Charlotte Rhys toiletries were a nice touch. The sea view from my Dolphin Suite was breathtaking, making my stay much more enjoyable.

The dining options were a bit limited for those who prefer extensive menus.

Stunning Views and Delicious Food

I recently stayed in the Kingfisher suite, which offered breathtaking views over the lagoon and an absolute oasis of comfort. The meals were a highlight, especially my fillet steak and the sublime baked yogurt dessert. The staff were exceptional, always smiling and ready to assist, making my stay effortlessly enjoyable. I do think the common areas need a bit of sprucing up to match the room's luxury, but overall, it was a fantastic experience!
